Rebates come off a price, so get the price first. Each out-of-pocket figure on this site sits beside the full price it comes from.
Which programs apply
Most of our heat pump estimates include more than one program. Xcel lowered its heat pump bonus for Xcel gas customers on October 1, 2026, and some depend on your income, your utility or where you live.
How rebates show up on the quote
Point-of-sale discounts come straight off the invoice. Other rebates are filed after the install and paid to you. A clear quote shows the full price, each program by name, which ones come off at signing, and what you owe.
Rebates also have equipment rules. Most need a matched outdoor unit and coil with an AHRI certificate, and some need a cold-climate rating. Choose the equipment first and the paperwork follows.
